Born in Atlanta, Georgia and educated at Campbell High School, I attended the University of Georgia to study education and political science. There I participated in Phi Sigma Pi, The Redcoat band, UGA Habitat for Humanity, VolunteerUGA, and several other student organizations.
I took my first teaching job at Luella High School in Locust Grove, Georgia teaching six periods of economics per day and coaching the dance team. The dance team has become a strong success and the economics students seem to be sleeping through their college economics classes while making A's on their tests.
I then worked at Hiram high were I coached volleyball, helping the team go to the state playoffs for the first time in 3 years.
Now I work at Wheeler High School in Marietta, trying hard to make kids smart.
